Create a new canvas given the graphics configuration No timing information will be displayed

Parameters:
gc - The graphics configuration to use for the canvas

UtilCanvas3D

Create a new canvas given the graphics configuration and timing flag

Parameters:
gc - The graphics configuration to use for the canvas
display - Should timing infomation be displayed
Method Detail

setDisplayTimings

public void setDisplayTimings(boolean val)
Should timing information be printed every n frames

Parameters:
val - The new displayTimings value

preRender

public void preRender()
Process code before we render the image Overrides the standard implementation to mark the start time


postSwap

public void postSwap()
Process code after we have swapped the image to the foreground. Overrides the standard implementation to calculate timing info


displayStats

public void displayStats()
Display statistics about this run


getAvgFPS

public float getAvgFPS()
Get the average FPS during this run


getLowestFPS

public float getLowestFPS()
Get the lowest FPS during this run


resetTiming

public void resetTiming()
Reset statistics
